PrOjEcT 15/365: Mystic Island

4/17/09

Camotes is an island found at the eastern side of Cebu, west of Leyte and north of Bohol. After three hours in transit, we arrived at the mystical island. Its azure blue skies and clear waters greeted us as we stepped out from the ferry. Never have I seen a sky so blue and waters so clear anywhere else. We then settled ourselves in Santiago Bay Resort. My friend led us to a hang out place by the beach. The locals were so hospitable that we felt right at home with their family. Kuya, the head of the family, is a great cook. He set before us scrumptious native dishes made of seafoods freshly caught from the deep waters. Ate assists him in running their livelihood together with their children. We ate our lunch and spent the day enjoying this magnificent island known as Camotes. :D
